place in Brisbane, Australia. The television network and Pacquiao’s
promoter, Top Rank, announced the deal early Monday for the
Filipino boxer’s welterweight world title defense against Jeff Horn,
which will be Pacquiao’s first ever live basic cable fight — and first
non-pay-per-view
This fight has attracted some criticism in Europe and America due to Horn’s low international profile. Horn has just 17 professional fights to his name and his most notable victory, his 2016 win over Randall Bailey, was over an opponent long past his best.
